Discography

Last Dance @The Shockcenter

Recorded over the last couple of years Last Dance @ The Shockcenter may be the fang that breaks the bubble for Roadbed. I always wanted to use that line, but i think the occasion may be right this time.

Autopilot... a satire of modern music

The word on the street is that this CD is too short.

If so then the irony is all lost.

Originally to be the last 5 tracks on ROADBED 3. AUTOPILOT is the result of an artist driven band reacting to to a commercial world.

Dr. Juan Kerkackington of the tufted ears learning institute is currently using The Study of Roadbed's Autopilot as a Sociological Phenomenon to teach a core credit course.

Knockout Hits defines Roadbed

Roadbed's second CD release, Knockout Hits set the tone for what Roadbed would sound like. It wasn't as much a sound but rather a framework for the various things that Roadbed do.

The fidelity, the style, and the delivery of the songs is not set in stone.

Roadbed... many bands strive to "move effortlessly from style to style"... and some just do.

REPRESENTED... The long ball that just keeps going

Roadbed's initial CD, Represented (1999), bought the band much respect. A song sensitive delivery, some powerful words "with a tight restricting necktie and he fought like a rhino", and a general pop sensibility made the recording enjoyable to all kinds of music lovers.

The physical CD was released without a cover... an ill fated move that can be best summed up with the idea that the point that it barely made was not worth making in the first place

Nonetheless the songs on that record built and honest and loyal following for the band..
